Mikael Olsson, born in 1969, lives and works in Stockholm. He studied at the Department of Architecture at Chalmers in Gothenburg; at Brooks University of Photography in Santa Barbara and the Department of Photography and Film at the University of Gothenburg. Recent solo exhibitions include Södrakull Frösakull at House of Sweden, Washington DC; Arthur Ross Architecture Gallery, Columbia University, New York; Galerie Nordenhake, Stockholm; and Hasselblad Center, Gothenburg. The publication “Södrakull Frösakull” by Steidl Verlag was released in 2011 and he has participated in group exhibitions such as STENA 15, Gothenburg Museum of Art, Momentum Design/Kunsthall and Hasselblad Center in Gothenburg among others.
