Jesper Waldersten, born in 1969, completed five years with one of Sweden’s leading ad firms but resigned in order to develop his drawing interest. A spare-time occupation that had come no further than editing comic strips. His contributions to DN, Sweden’s largest morning daily, brought him a wide public following and from 99-05 he produced some hundred illustrations which won him three gold medals in the world championship Best of Newspaper Design. Waldersten has had several successful exhibitions and published numerous of books and is still working for lots of prestigious advertising clients.
